The NSW Government grants certain petroleum exploration rights given non-invasive methods are observed, Norwest Hydrocarbons was granted PSPA12 covering an area of 177,000 square kilometres which is the largest exploration tenement ever granted in New South Wales. 'The Petroleum Potential of PSPA12 New South Wales' was, in short, Norwest Hydrocarbon's findings to be displayed and distributed to various government agencies and other interested parties.
